More choice means a greater administrative burden. Isn't this a problem for you?
We have one colleague at Nielsen who does the payroll calculation for 130 employees. As she would also have to deal with the administration of Cafeteria benefits, we had to choose a system, that wouldn't increase the burden on her. We needed a system to administer both payroll and benefits together.

How did you choose?
We could have used a solution provided by the Benefit companies. These are simple Excel sheets, provided free. But we needed a system that would show payroll and benefits together. It is required in our company to bring all expenditures, including tax-free allowances, into financial accounts established according to international requirements. If we were keeping the benefits data in a separate sheet, we would either have to duplicate the data, or always export the Excel sheets. This wouldn’t be a professional approach, so we have instead chosen to use an integrated solution.
How much more does the integrated system give you?
The NEXONcafé software is an integrated module of the NEXONbér payroll system, which works together with NEXONhr. We have been using the NEXONbér system since 2008, so adding the Cafeteria module did not require any additional effort, and the data is automatically transferred to the financial system. Due to this integrated approach, the time spent on cafeteria administration did not increase significantly.

What was the feedback from the employees?
The system was very positively received by our employees. On the one hand, their requirement was fulfilled, and on the other hand, a larger amount was realized in a year when wages had to be frozen due to economic conditions.
